🌿🤍 [The Well Edit] My best decision of 2025

First, a quick announcement: There are only 9 weeks left in the year 🤯

In my house, that means Halloween, birthdays, holidays, and more birthdays right after.

Chaos doesn’t even begin to describe it!

So I’m taking my own advice and protecting some peace this season, while still helping you stay healthy and head into 2026 strong.

For the rest of 2025, The Well Edit will go out every 3 weeks (instead of weekly) with a few special surprises sprinkled in.

We’ll be back to normal after January 1, refreshed and better than ever!

Weekly Insight: My best decision of 2025

I started this year with a lot of goals.

Some, I’ve hit.

Others, not even close.

But my biggest goal was clear: rebuild my health after selling my startup.

And a newer goal: become the hottest, healthiest version of my self before my 38th birthday next year.

I had just come off of 7 years of high stress, high anxiety environment.

Daily fire drills, constant pressure, and a wrecked nervous system.

Plus giving birth and raising two babies in the middle of it.

Two postpartum seasons.

I burnt out more times than I remember, but then got back up and pushed again.

It’s something many entrepreneurs don’t talk about: when you’re succeeding in business, it often comes at the expense of your health.

As a hormone coach and a wellness expert, I know what high stress can do to your body.

Because I lived it. And I've studied it.

But against a lot of odds, I healed my nervous system.

The problem? After years in fight-or-flight, the damage ran deeper.

That’s when I made my best decision of 2025:

starting with Stat Wellness.

Stat is a comprehensive wellness clinic that combines functional medicine, testing, movement, and nutrition to uncover the root cause of symptoms and build a personalized plan for optimal health.

With an in-person, virtual hybrid model.

My goals: body recomposition (lose fat, build muscle), better sleep, more energy, and fewer PMS symptoms

What I’ve Learned So Far

My gut instinct was right.

There was more going on.

Years of high stress left fingerprints everywhere:

→ My immune system is suppressed (low sIgA)

→ I have gut dysbiosis and a weakened gut barrier (candida + parasites)

→ My pancreas isn’t producing enough enzymes, making it harder to digest protein, build muscle, and support metabolism. (borderline Elastase)

→ My progesterone is low due to “pregnenolone steal” ( when your body diverts hormone resources to make cortisol)

→ My testosterone is low too, from stress, nutrient malabsorption, and muscle loss

In short, years of stress took a toll on my immune system, gut, weight, and hormones, but now, I finally know where to focus to rebuild.

What’s Next

I’ve started a gut protocol to heal dysbiosis and improve nutrient absorption.

Why? because a healthy gut is the foundation for everything that comes next.

I also completed a movement screen to set myself up for success as I rebuild strength and prevent injury.

I’m almost through that and going to meet with my provider in a few weeks!

And I’ll be sharing my full year experience on my Instagram!

🏆Your Well Challenge

A real-life mini challenge - something simple to try this week!

This week, focus on supporting your gut and lowering stress, the two biggest foundations for better energy, hormones, and metabolism.

1️⃣ Morning reset: Start your day with 10 deep breaths and a tall glass of electrolyte water before coffee.

It signals safety to your nervous system and supports hydration and digestion.

2️⃣ Gut nourishment: Add one gut-friendly food each day like kefir, kimchi, cooked greens, or chia pudding to help your microbiome thrive.

3️⃣ Slow down to digest: Sit down for meals, avoid multitasking, and chew slowly.

This small shift can improve enzyme activity and nutrient absorption.

Try this for 5 days and notice how your digestion, energy, and mood start to change.

🤍 The Social Edit

What I’ve been sharing on social this week — in case you missed it.

🔥 My Hot Take

My POV on wellness trends, what’s hype, and the business behind it all.

Bryan Johnson, the $2M-a-year longevity guy, just raised $60M for his wellness brand, Blueprint.

He’s the definition of building a platform and owning distribution

doing things only the top 0.1% can do,

then turning them into products for everyone else.

He is building out an operating system for precision health

Encompassing diagnostics, nutrition, weight loss, AI coaching, and more.

The investor list reads like a who’s who of influence: Kim Kardashian, Naval Ravikant, Alex Hormozi, Ari Emanuel, and the Winklevoss twins.

But here’s the real question: will it work?

Consumers are influenced by the people behind the brands.

And right now, Bryan Johnson looks like another tech-bro biohacker on a mission to “fix” healthcare.

He brought in a male CEO and, aside from one female co-founder, there are few women in sight.

So will this be another male-forward longevity play

or will women be at the center of the brand and solutions from day one?

My take? Their success will depend on the latter.
